On Dec.27 2004, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China and China National Development and Reform Commission released No.194 Bulletin listing 13 approved equipment supervision units, in which 5 items applied by SINOSTEEL MECC, i.e. iron-making equipment engineering, steel-making and con-casting equipment engineering, steel rolling equipment engineering, special steel equipment engineering and urban garbage treatment engineering acquired approval and all Class A qualification. Ministry of Personnel of China and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China jointly announced the first certified personnel list qualified to be equipment supervisor. After verified and announced by Working Panel for Qualification Certification of Equipment Supervisor, SINOSTEEL MECC’s Vice President GAO Yinglin and other 16 people passed through the certification and acquired the qualification. On Dec.28 2004, a certificate-giving ceremony was held in Beijing, and leaders from General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, China National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Personnel of China attended the ceremony, presented the certificates and gave the speech.
